Buddy icons are small images that you can use to represent yourself when you instant message your friends. You can also put icons on your website, blog, MySpace, or journal to make it a little more personal. They are smaller than avatars. Buddy icons are 48x48 pixels while avatars are 100x100 pixels.
DollSpace has created and classified thousands of buddy icons for your viewing pleasure. Use them wherever you like! You can favorite buddy icons the same way you favorite avatars (by clicking the heart). Doing this will catalog your favorites in your DollSpace Profile. When uploading an image, you can classify it as a buddy icon or an avatar.
If you like making avatars, you'll love creating buddy icons too! Your profile will contain both your submitted/favorited buddy icons and avatars, so you'll never lose track of them. Plus, everyone else on DollSpace will know which ones you made because your username shows up right beneath them. If they like your style, they can click on your username and view your Profile and check out all your buddy icons and avatars! What will you create next?
